For each type of browser and device there are different settings, below is the step-by-step for each.
For Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- In the top right, select "More" (the three dots).
- Then "More tools" and "Clear browsing data".
- To delete everything, click "All time". Alternatively, you can select a time range.
- Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Select "Clear data".
For Safari:
- In your Safari app, open "Settings".
- Then select "Privacy".
- From here, click the "Manage Website Data" button.
- In this menu, you can either remove your cache and cookies for a single website, by clicking "Remove" – or all of them, by selecting "Remove All".
For Firefox:
- Click the Menu Icon.
- Select "History", then "Clear Recent History", then "Details".
- Tick "Cookies" and "Cache" and select "Clear Now".
- Then restart your browser.
